Carles Trepat

His technique and training are classical but the Catalan Carles Trepat adores flamenco. Both styles come together brilliantly in his adaptations of Manuel Quiroga's songs, something like the Spanish Irving Berlin. He draws attention to the delicate sound he gets from his guitar, a Torres built in 1982, the Stradivarius of the Spanish guitar.
